On their eleventh regular studio album, "Every Rock, Every Half-Truth under Reason", conceptual and experimental artists KAYO DOT commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Choirs of the Eye" by reuniting the original line-up. This bold musical statement from the ever-changing composer and mastermind Toby Driver marks both a return and a progression from the band's seminal debut by revisiting the compositional practices that defined it while pushing forward into uncharted territory. Rejecting traditional rock structures and the more predictable contours of metal, "Every Rock, Every Half-Truth under Reason" shapes a sound that feels familiar and alien at once, where custom-designed microtonal organs and guitars weave an effort to reconcile the impossible tension between past and future. Moving away from the typical emphasis on low-end frequencies, it floats instead in the upper spectrum, where the textures become more fragile, more intimate, and more abrasive and terrifying. This KAYO DOT album is also haunted by the ghost of a future to come: the spectre of AI-generated creativity.

The Hits is a compilation album from REO Speedwagon. It contains hits such as "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "Keep on Loving You", as well as new tracks "Here with Me" and "I Don't Want to Lose You". "Here with Me" cracked the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. and the top ten on the Adult Contemporary chart; however, it would be the last single to feature drummer Alan Gratzer and guitarist Gary Richrath, as they each left the band within the year following this album's release. The album has sold over 4 million copies in the U.S. which led it to go 4× Platinum. A conspicuous absentee from the album is "Keep the Fire Burnin'", which reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1982. The collection is one of several released by the band's label.

The Aerosol Grey Machine is the debut studio album by English progressive rock band Van der Graaf Generator. It was released in 1969 by record label Mercury. The album was originally intended as a solo album by the band's lead singer and main songwriter, Peter Hammill. When the band signed with Charisma Records, a deal was worked out whereby The Aerosol Grey Machine would be released under the Van der Graaf Generator name, in return for Mercury Records releasing Hammill from his earlier contract with it. The initial edition contained the song "Giant Squid", later pressings removed this track and replaced it with the single b-side "Necromancer". The album was reissued on CD in 1997 by the German company Repertoire Records, using the second-edition running order of the album and featuring the first single as bonus tracks.

Thom Bell, along with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, was part of the holy trinity of Philly soul. The original Third Mind tapes were released in March (Volume One and Two) and September (Volume Three, Four and Five) 1983. ‘Rising From The Red Sand’ was one the most comprehensive compilations of early 80’s industrial, wave and underground music, spanning a total of five cassettes, compiled by Gary Levermore for his own Third Mind Records label (which has also recently been revived). The original five tapes are now released as a 5xLP set, following several months of tracking down as many artists as possible to obtain their permission to reissue their material. This triple disc collector s box set features rare broadcast recordings by Neil Young, originally transmitted from live shows the great man performed in the 1970s and 1980s; his glory years if you will. Disc One includes two such superb performances: the first a short set Neil played alongside Bob Dylan and members of The Band at the San Francisco SNACK Benefit concert in 1975, and secondly his legendary acoustic set from the late show he gave at Boston s Music Hall in November 1976. Disc Two features Young s marvellous appearance on the Austin City Limits programme in 1984. Including recent cuts mixed with NY classics, this is perhaps Neil s finest performances of that period. Disc Three houses another 80s gig, played at the end of the decade in Hamburg, Germany, on 8th December 1989, shortly after the release of his dynamic Freedom album.

Pearl Jam entered Seattle's London Bridge Studios in March 1991 to record their debut album, Ten. Drummer Dave Krusen left the band in May 1991 after checking himself into rehabilitation and was replaced by Matt Chamberlain, but after just a handful of gigs Chamberlain left too and was superseded by Dave Abbruzzese, who played the rest of Pearl Jam's live shows supporting Ten. Released on August 27, 1991, Ten contained eleven tracks dealing with dark subjects like depression, suicide, loneliness, and murder.

To celebrate the pivotal album’s 20-year anniversary, Rhino will release a deluxe edition of Boys For Pele featuring a newly remastered version of the original, along with 21 bonus tracks that include: a selection of B-sides, rare recordings, and four previously unreleased tracks.
