With this new release the award-winning Latvian Radio Choir together with its director Sigvards Kļava are returning to contemporary music after a series of recordings of 19th Century sacred choral works. Ramon Humet’s (b. 1968) new choral work, 'Llum', is a deep, spiritual journey to the gift of life, peace and love.

Christina Pluhar and l'Arpeggiata invite you on a musical cruise that will take you from Portugal to Turkey, following the coasts of Spain, Catalonia, Greece, and Italy, caressed by the rocking of the waves and the captivating dialogue between traditional plucked instruments of the Mediterranean region the qanun, saz, Greek lyre and lavta, the oud and Portuguese guitar and the Baroque strings of l'Arpeggiata.

The tireless pilgrimage of Llull to spread their Ars seems to nurture with new energy as are major the obstacles that cross the road. Llull wants to be present in all places and moments in the turbulent events of the 13th to 14th siecles transition. The news that the Mongols, allied with the Armenian Christians had attacked Muslim positions in Syria leads him directly to Cyprus, Armenia and the Holy Land. The last stages of his long life journey, protagonists of this album, set up one of the most representative combination of Llull and his ideas: an amalgam of music that joins sounds from Mediterranean coasts, the privileged space of Ramon Llull’s actions.

After October 6th collection of Andalusian music, here is another homage by Victoria de los Ángeles to her musical roots. Born in Barcelona, the soprano has a deep connection with Catalan vocal music, whose richness of which she gives a splendid overview, from traditional songs accompanied at the guitar by Renata Tarragó to modern cycles by Mompou, Toldrà and Rodrigo arranged and conducted by Antoni Ros-Marbà, a great figure of music in Catalonia.

Mind Garage was an American psychedelic rock and roll band from Morgantown, West Virginia, and a progenitor of Christian rock music. Their "Electric Liturgy" performed in 1968 was the first documented Christian rock worship service, and their 1969 eponymous debut RCA album was one of the earliest Christian rock albums released…

Short-lived band from Newcastle, which became from an oddity to a legend over the years.Kestrel (named after a type of bird) were born in 1975, featuring Dave Black on guitars/vocals, Tom Knowles on lead vocals, Fenwick Moir on bass and Dave Whitaker (formerly of Ginhouse) in the original formation, later to add John Cook on guitars and keyboars…

Ovidi Montllor was a Valencian singer-songwriter and actor, born in Alcoy (Alicante) in 1942; he died in Barcelona in 1995. He started his artist career as actor in little theaters. In 1966 he moved to Barcelona and in 1968 began as solo singer, sometimes backed by Toti Soler. Montllor was known for his deep voice and his histrionic on-stage manners, and went on to become one of the most talented members of the Nova Cançó movement, albeit one of the least popular. As a result of the tributes paid to him by internationally renowned artists such as Miquel Gil and Pascal Comelade, his work has received increased attention from music lovers in the last few years. As an actor he played in a number of movies, as "Furtivos" (1975), "La verdad sobre el caso Savolta" (1980), "Amanece, que no es poco" (1988)…

Detlev Schmidtchen was a member of Eloy from 1976 to 1979 first as a second guitarist, but subsequently as keyboardist. Leaving the band, he and ex- Eloy drummer Jürgen Rosenthal formed the group Ego on the Rocks releasing a single album in 1981. In 2007-2009 Schmidtchen released a series of concept albums joined again by Jürgen Rosenthal.

This album gathers highlights from Montserrat Figueras career for the Astrée, DHM, EMI and Alia Vox labels. 5 of the 35 tracks have already been reissued in a portrait album released in the 1990s by Astrée, La 'Voix de l Emotion'. Jordi Savall wanted to keep the same title for this much more comprehensive double album, in tribute to the late Montserrat Figueras, his wife and collaborator of 43 years. 35 year-career: 35 tracks a dazzlingly clear soprano voice, a line of the purest silk, as strong as it was delicate.
