This was Johnny B. Moore's first CD ever and he got an Award nomination for it! It was all Westside Chicago Blues and self-penned songs. Willie Kent and Tim Taylor are on bass & drums and you could hear that Johnny would be one of the greatest - on both - guitar & vocals.

The members of Welcome recorded their debut album in 1975 at Aquarius Studios in Geneva on the EMI/Swiss label to modest reception. The young trio embarked upon a small series of live shows in an attempt to promote the record, but lagging sales and lack of publicity led to the departure of bassist Francis Yost, who was replaced by Helmi Erdinger around the time of the band's second and final release, "You're Welcome". Welcome's music is distinctly in the vein of the early seventies, owing much of their sound to Yes ala "Relayer". The production quality of their studio releases is rather uneven, and is characterized by sometimes wavering harmony vocals, heavy mellotron and Hammond, and rather sparse guitar work. The band appears to have moved toward a more commercial sound with their second release.

Machina: Aranea Alba Editio is a box set by American alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. It was released as an octuple vinyl box set on September 5, 2025, via the website of Billy Corgan's Madame Zuzu's tea shop. The box set consists of material from the band's 2000 albums Machina/The Machines of God and Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music. The band broke up shortly after the release of the latter record, with Corgan saying he considered the entire Machina project "unfinished". The set includes a 48 track version of the Machina album, as well as 32 bonus tracks. It includes some rerecorded songs, and all the material has been remixed and remastered. It was promoted by a concert tour of North America, with Corgan forming a new band titled Billy Corgan and the Machines of God. The band included Corgan alongside bassist Kid Tigrrr and drummer Jake Hayden, as well as the Smashing Pumpkins's touring guitarist Kiki Wong.

UFO originally formed in 1969, around singer Phil Mogg, bassist Pete Way and drummer Andy Parker. Reaching a peak with 1978's 'Strangers In The Night', after five classic records featuring mercurial lead guitarist Michael Schenker, UFO carried on into the 1980s with Paul Chapman replacing Schenker. Although it seemed as if UFO had called it a day at the end of their 1983 tour to support the 'Making Contact' album, singer Phil Mogg put together a new look band for 1985's 'Misdemeanor' record. Eschewing the more guitar- driven hard rock that made their name during the previous decade, the latest album had a more keyboard driven sound, typical of the 1980s. The new look UFO featured Paul Gray on bass, Jim Simpson on drums, Paul Raymond from the classic 'Strangers In The Night' era line-up of the band - back in the fold after a stint with The Michael Schenker Group - handling rhythm guitar and keyboards, plus Atomik Tommy 'M' on lead guitar.

On August 30, 1972, John Lennon and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band, backed by Elephant’s Memory, and joined by special guests, headlined two historic One to One Benefit Concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. These performances included an afternoon matinee and an evening performance, held to a combined audience of 40,000 people, raising more than $1.5 million (today’s equivalent of $11.5 million) to support children with with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including children from the Willowbrook State School in Staten Island, N.Y. John & Yoko became aware of Willowbrook, a state-supported institution for physically and mentally handicapped children, after seeing an investigative report from Geraldo Rivera that exposed the horrible conditions and questionable medical practices the children endured. The electrifying concert featured songs from across John and Yoko’s solo albums, songs from their just-released album, Sometime In New York City, a Beatles cut and and peace anthems like “Imagine” and “Give Peace A Chance.” It also included an appearance from Stevie Wonder. These were John Lennon’s only full-length concerts after leaving The Beatles.
