A double-disc compilation of over two and a half hours of remixes, Auntie Aubrey's Excursions Beyond the Call of Duty, Pt. 1 includes Orb reworkings of well-known bands (Primal Scream, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Killing Joke) and more obscure acts (Keiichi Suzuki, Love Kittens). Several mixes sound a bit dated, and the scattershot quality of the set can distract listeners, but the inclusion of several epiphanous moments (Material's "Praying Mantra," Primal Scream's "Higher Than the Sun," and Sun Electric's "O'Locco") makes the album worthwhile for fans.

Leavin' is a studio album by American recording artist Natalie Cole, released on September 26, 2006, by Verve Records. The album consists of ten cover versions of various R&B and pop songs and two original songs: "5 Minutes Away" and "Don't Say Goodnight (It's Time for Love)". It was the second of Cole's albums to be released by Verve Records and her first album in four years, following Ask a Woman Who Knows (2002). Cole promoted the album as a return to her R&B roots, distancing herself from an identification as a jazz artist.

Three CD set containing all the recordings issued by Steppenwolf for the epic label between 1974 and 1976. Steppenwolf was formed in 1967 in LA by John Kay (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Goldy McJohn (organ, piano) and Jerry Edmonton (drums) who were previously members of the Canadian band The Sparrows. They were joined by Michael Monarch (lead guitar) and Rushton Moreve (bass). The band signed to Dunhill / ABC Records and were propelled to success in 1968 with their classic single ‘Born To Be Wild’ which became even wider known when the track was featured to great effect in the classic 1969 counterculture film Easy Rider.

The stalwart Canadian hard rock/post-grunge group's sixth studio long-player, Outsider is the second Three Days Grace outing to feature new vocalist Matt Walst, who made his debut on 2015's Human - Walst played a much larger role in writing and shaping the songs this time around. Produced by the band alongside Gavin Brown and Howard Benson, both of whom have helmed TDG albums in the past, the 12-track set was heralded by the singles "The Mountain," "I Am an Outsider," and "Right Left Wrong."

Whilst in The Faces, Rod Stewart pursued a solo career, which paid dividends in 1971 when he was propelled to the top of the UK charts with Maggie May and later You Wear It Well, both are included here. Enjoy!

Miraculously, the magnificent grand organ of Notre-Dame de Paris survived the catastrophic fire in April 2019. With its 8000 pipes fully cleaned and restored, it was back in action for the historic reopening of Notre-Dame in December 2024. This is the first recording on the newly restored organ. Vincent Dubois, one of Notre-Dame’s four titular organists, has recorded Eternal Notre-Dame to showcase this monumental instrument (built by the great Aristide Cavaillé-Coll) and to salute its heritage.

“I looked at it and said, I know the piece!” When Philip Glass visited the construction site of the Itaipú dam on the border between Brazil and Paraguay in 1988, he was overwhelmed. He marvelled at the boldness and inventiveness of the undertaking and the sheer imagination through which humankind was transforming nature. The work “Itaipú”, written shortly afterwards and based on this experience, is a symphonic “portrait of nature” for choir and orchestra, composed in the tradition of minimal music. Philip Glass is a composer of images. Each of his works evokes a multitude of thoughts and ideas that merge and transform as the music sweeps towards its destination. Conducted by Brad Lubman, a renowned specialist for new music, this monumental work unfolds its full effect, creating “a pull from which there is no escape, one blissfully surrenders to the effect.”

Ensemble Caprice presents a both imaginative yet scholarly project: the reconstruction of Antonio Vivaldi’s lost ‘national’ concertos—La Francia, L’Inghilterra, La Spagna, and Il Gran Mogol. Listed in an 18th-century catalogue (1759), three of these evocative concertos had vanished, except Il Gran Mogol, rediscovered in 2010. Drawing on his deep knowledge of Baroque language, Maute recreates these works as Vivaldi himself might have composed them. Each concerto is preceded by a historically inspired prelude, reflecting the character of each nation. A modern addition rounds out the program: La primavera, a solo recorder fantasy inspired by Vivaldi’s iconic Spring. A unique recording that pays vibrant homage to the “Red Priest’s” world.
