Diana Ross' glossy 1981-1987 tenure on RCA is the subject of this 18-track collection, which includes her hit tribute to the late Marvin Gaye, "Missing You." Face to Face - Live is a live album by the Scottish funk and R&B group Average White Band (AWB), originally released in 1999 through EMI-Capitol Special Markets. The performance was recorded live at the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco while the band was touring with Tower of Power in support of their 1997 studio album, Soul Tattoo. The live record serves as a showcase for the band's revised late-90s lineup, bridging classic 1970s funk and soul sounds with a fresh production aesthetic.

Sony's Love Is the Message: The Best of MFSB is still the best and most readily available showcase for this group's influential accomplishments as a proto-disco group, while this album is arguably their strongest non-compilation release and one of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff's shining moments.
