Tina Turner - Queen Of Rock 'n' Roll (2023)

When Tina Turner passed away in May 2023, she left behind the legacy of a huge life's work. This new anthology looks back at her legendary solo career, which began almost 50 years ago. "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" is a compilation of 55 tracks that takes us through her unique solo career via her singles. Starting with her cover version of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" from 1975 and ending with the Kygo remix of "What's Love Got to Do With It" from 2020, this is the first time her entire collection of singles has been released in one set.

Of course, "Queen Of Rock 'n' Roll" also includes Tina Turner's duets with other legendary artists such as David Bowie, Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart. As well as some of the most memorable and famous pop and rock singles of all time, including "What's Love Got To Do With It", "Private Dancer", "We Don't Need Another Hero" and "The Best", to name but a few.

The collection also includes a new version of "Something Beautiful Remains", now simply titled "Something Beautiful". Reworked by Turner's legendary producer and longtime collaborator Terry Britten, the track is a soulful and fitting final tribute to the powerful legacy she leaves behind.

Tina Turner is revered the world over. With her personal story, her singing and her way of dancing, she was and is an inspiration to millions of people around the globe. Despite all this success and her enormous fame, the person Tina Turner never disappeared behind the character Tina Turner. She remained approachable and authentic throughout her career - another reason why she is still so loved around the world today.

"Queen Of Rock 'n' Roll" will be released as a 3-CD and 5-LP set as well as a reduced vinyl version with twelve tracks. All versions include a foreword by Bryan Adams, Turner's long-time friend and creative partner.
