The Songs Of Rod Temperton is a promotional-only 2CD compilation released in 2002 by Chrysalis Records. The music honors the songwriting of British composer Temperton, who died on 5 October, 2016 of cancer-related causes. It was he who helped Michael Jackson rise to the top of the charts with his solo career and was one of the members behind 70's R&B group Heatwave.
