VA - MOS: Chilled Afterhours (3CD) (2011)

Ministry of Sound continue explore the softer side of music by releasing the latest edition in the Chilled series. Afterhours is an alternative take on previous albums combining a mixture of genres & introducing new artists to create a brand new laidback listening experience. CD1 is on a chillout dance tip, showcasing fresh new talent in the form of Jamie XX (including his hugely hyped remix of Adele) plus brand new exclusives from Skream & Yasmin (both Radio 1 playlisted). CD2 features the best of the bands including Radiohead, Hurts, Beach House & MGMT to name but a few and on CD3 we re-visit some Trip-Hop classics. Over the course of the 3 CD’s people will also recognise certain tracks from well known advertising campaigns for Apple & Amazon kindle. Whether it’s your after party or simply a laidback Sunday ‘Afterhours’ provides the perfect downtempo soundtrack for winding down.
