When Seconds Count is the sixth album from the American rock band Survivor, and the second featuring vocalist Jimi Jamison. The album included the hit single "Is This Love" which reached a high of #9 in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in early-1987. The album reached a high of #49 on the Billboard Hot 200 album charts.

Of all the albums released by Survivor I would have to say that When Seconds Count stands as their all time best. Theres not one bad track or filler to be found on this CD at all. This is one of those CD's that you can pop in and play over and over and never get sick of it. I've owned this CD for years and I still enjoy it to this day. I've always loved how Survivor blends their Keyboards and Guitars together, which gives them their signature sound, and its all found right here.
I love this cd. The hard driving 80's classic guitar rythyms of Kevin Sullivan mixed with smooth synthesizers of Jim Pederick,solid and steady drums,and strong gutsy vocals of Jimi Jamison is a pleasure to listen to. This album is similar in sound to their previous 1984 cd Vital Signs.IS THIS LOVE was the big hit single,but many songs could have been hits on this cd, such as the OCEANS,KEEP IT RIGHT HERE,REBEL SON, and BACKSTREET LOVE AFFAIR. If you love 80's hard rock,you can't go wrong with this one.
