The almighty are just a great band. Every band has their best album and this is it!!
If you are an angry young man and want an album to accompany you this is it.

Warwick of New Model Army at the forefront the group. Following the dissolution of NMA, The Almighty moved onto a more metal sound in the interests of keeping with the times.

Gotthard are back with yet another album, Need to Believe. The Swiss hard-rock band has released a string of
Number 1 albums lately, and Need to Believe looks all set to follow in that trend. It is an enervating mix of big fist-
pumping anthems and harder, darker stories. Who ever said that the Swiss never created anything great?

Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, Ballbreaker's sophomore album delivers a short but effective shot to the gut. Some people might think a half hour is too short for an album these days, but I say fuck that. It may be too short if there was some filler added, but Hangman's Tree contains zero filler…nada, zilch.

Saints & Sinners were a short-lived, yet exceptional melodic mainstream rock band formed from the ashes of heavy metal band Sword.
Ex-Sword members Rick Hughes (vocals) and Jeff Salem (drums) recruited Stephane Dufour (guitar), Martin Balduc (bass) and former Aldo Nova, Night Ranger and U.F.O. keyboardist Jesse Bradman to form the group. Aldo Nova performed on and produced their slick hard rocking debut album. The album should have made them superstars, but being on an independent label and the influx of grunge music into the mainstream led to Saints & Sinners being severely overlooked. The band toured for the release and broke up shortly after.

Metal Heaven has set a March 27 release date for "Pure", the first solo album from Swedish songwriter/producer/artist Chris Laney. The songs on the CD were all written by Laney with co-writers like Bruce Kulick (KISS, UNION, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD), Lennart Östlund (LED ZEPPELIN, THE ROLLING STONES, ABBA, GENESIS), Mats Levén (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and others. Laney sings all songs on "Pure", which includes appearances by guest musicians J. Koleberg (ANIMAL, ZAN CLAN), Nalle Pahlsson (TREAT, ANIMAL, ZAN CLAN), Vic Zino (HARDCORE SUPERSTAR), Martin Sweet (CRASHDIET) and Zinny Zan (EASY ACTION, SHOTGUN MESSIAH, ZAN CLAN)

In 1991 Steelheart released their self-titled debut, most notable for its octave-spanning vocals and a pair of hit power ballads:
"Never Let You Go," which reached number 14 on the Billboard singles chart; and "She's Gone," which fared well internationally.

In true old-school "supergroup" fashion, Chickenfoot is a hard-rock dream team. Composed of vocalist Sammy Hagar (Montrose, Van
Halen), bassist Michael Anthony (Van Halen), drummer Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, the combo grew

"Boris the Spider"-esque locomotive descending riff and manic screams that drive "Oh Yeah" to the screaming guitar solos and pounding
drums of "Get it Up," these songs showcase veteran musicians having the time of their lives, playing the type of music they know and love
best.

Self-produced CD. Sound is poor. Some songs are very good, others just don't…

Well, try the other one (Bulletboys - Bulletboys) and if you like it, get this too! I wouldn't miss it either!

Led by former Ratt guitarist Marq Torien, the L.A. metal band Bulletboys also included ex-King Kobra guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vincent, and drummer Jimmy d'Anda. Their style was strongly influenced by bands such as AC/DC and Van Halen, later going in a bluesier direction. Torien's personality often drew comparisons to David Lee Roth. The group had a couple of MTV hits off their self-titled debut but faded away after their second album. Song titles like "Do Me Raw," "Hard as a Rock," and "Kissin' Kitty" give a fairly accurate impression of the band's worldview.

Enter Pinnick’s latest solo effort, Strum Sum Up, a raucous batch of jam-heavy tunes, among the freest he’s ever recorded.
