Mikis Theodorakis, after completing his classical musical training, returned to Greece and began a phase of his life (1960-1967) in which he was especially attracted and inspired by the traditional and popular music of his country. He was inspired by most renowned texts of Greek poets (Yannis Ritsos, Tasos Livaditis, Manos Eleftheriou, his brother Yannis, etc..) and composed dozens of songs that were music to that poetry. In those years are included in this LP many of their songs, with three issues also from movies. The repertoire of this LP was orchestrated and performed in 1978 by the most famous player of 'bouzouki', Kostas Papadopoulos.Track list:
