    This is the 1971 4th album by British hard rock band Led Zeppelin. The title are the four symbols representing each member of the band but has been called everything from "Zoso", "Zofo" or "Four Symbols" or what it is also called: the band's untitled 4th album. This is the second "first" compact disc pressing on Atlantic released in 1985 and is "un-remastered", or a CD mastered from whatever "master" tape was in their tape library at the time. The first edition was what is known as the "Target" pressing WEA released at the time but the company were about to go through a label design change so it was pressed again with a new design. This design is the exact mastering as the "Target" pressing. It is also an RCA Record Club pressing.
    This is the "un-mastered" version of the famous untitled 4th album by Led Zeppelin. The "Atlantic Target" was the first digital version of this. Upon doing a comparison, I discovered that Atlantic's next pressing of the CD, which simply used a circle design on the CD surface, is the same mastering. I have the "circle design" pressing, made in U.S.A. (although the jewel inlay has "Europe 250 008" on the back).

    Some enjoy these early "un-remastered" versions, some feel it lacks luster, life, bulk, milk, Satan, compared to the later remastered versions.
