Love in Slow Motion I had not heard this in awhile and had to listen several times before I could appreciate it. Angela sounds so different in this CD. In some places she sounded just like Phyllis Hyman! I said to myself, "Is this Phyllis Hyman or Angela Bofill?" I have fallen in love with the CD because it is Angela going in a different direction at a different point in her life. Everyone must change to stay relevant and that is what Angela Bofill was doing. I like it as I have all of the others one I have re-listened to. I moved and they are in storage so I am at a disadvantage. I did not have a problem purchasing her again because a portion goes to offset all of her bills. She can no longer sing because of her second stroke; that is a true tragedy in itself. Our Angela has not let it beat her so go out and repurchase all of her CDs again if you no longer have them because they are a pure joy to hear and you will not be sorry! I said this before: I had the joy and pleasure of seeing Angela perform three times over 16 years. I also had the pleasure of having her sign my albums and personalized a flyer for one of my children. Yes, they were fans too! We played "Call of the Wild" every morning and all three of them plus the other two boys I drove would sing that song at the top of their voices. I ALWAYS thing of the five of them when I hear that song now and forever more!
