The Phantom Of The Opera has been a spectacular success ever since its first performance back in October 1986. Now a global hit, it remains a huge draw on the London stage and is the longest running show on Broadway.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has created a sequel. It is titled Love Never Dies and is loosely adapted from the novel The Phantom of Manhattan, published in 1999 and written by Frederick Forsyth, who had collaborated with Lloyd Webber on the sequel years before. Directed by Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell Love Never Dies opened at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End on 9 March 2010 with previews from 22 February 2010.
