Quite a few will agree that Japan's experimental rock/jazz musicians enjoyed their affairs best in early 1990's. Such technological instruments as electronics and turntables are more of ways of free (in terms of ideas) improvisation than of acoustic effects, which I believe is their characteristics.Info from
