    The history of 'bolero' can not be written without the Cuban singer Olga Guillot (Santiago de Cuba, 1922-2010). Throughout his long career of over 60 years she published nearly 60 albums, earned 20 gold records, 10 platinum, diamond and 1 Grammy Award for excellence for a lifetime (2007). Along with the great Cuban singer Celia Cruz they are the couple of great female voices to Cuban history. She was recognized as the "Queen of Bolero'. This compilation CD features a small selection of some of her greatest hits.
