Nektar - A Tab In The Ocean (1972)

Review:
A Tab in the Ocean is Nektars classic album from 1972. Every track on this album still finds a place in Nektars live set even today, this includes King Of Twilight ( Covered by Iron Maiden ). The album has been mastered from the original master tapes for the first time ever, not from the originl Bellaphon CD release which was taken from a poor quality copy master tape. This expanded remaster the excellent work of Paschal Byrne includes both the German mix from 1972 and the USA mix from 1976 of TAB added as bonus material.
Nektars brand of progressive - psychedelic rock was far ahead of its time. Roye Albrighton was and remains a key driving force in the band. His skilled guitar playing set the platform for his fellow band mates. Each recording was outstanding and still stands today as a testament to the bands importance in the history of Progressive Rock Music.


Any lover of good music will not fail to enjoy taking in this musical paradise of material.
