Now the music is top notch 70s electronic music composed by Garson in a brighter happier mode then his previous darker occult themed albums but it still sounds inventive playful and one of a kind….. so I have to recommend it without question.
Well its great to finally have this on cd but the cd label did a rather cheap thrown together job on this cd- a cheap looking single booklet- with basic liner notes that most already know about- the music is great and its a shame that fifth dimension went the cheap route. A few years back the Omni Recording label was going to release Ataraxia/ black mass Lucifer on cd- but didn't! Its a shame as that label puts together great reissues with extensive liner notes -pics etc. I have the original vinyl which came with a cool booklet about plants and music etc but theres nothing here from that - surely the label could have added a few pages from this or pics etc.. even the cd seems thin and the graphics on it cheaply done.
