Excellent LP full of energy and rhythm. Marek & Vacek were two piano players from Poland specialized in playing pop tunes and classical ones with their own rhythmic way, backed by a vivid pop orchestra. The result is enthousiastic. Hear "Cecilia" and "Tea for Two" together with "Carmen" and "Traviata" and feel the energy emanating from the two pianos.
The duo of Marek and Vacek piano players (Marek Tomaszewski & Wacław Kisielewski) performed during 1963-1986. Unfortunatelly Vacek was killed in a car accident and so the duet ceased to exist. They knew a big popularity in Poland and abroad and recorded over 40 albums. They used to make special arrangements of well known classical tunes by adding vivid rhythm and energy.
