Compilation album released in Spain with a selection of 17 of the best recorded famous fandangos by this popular Spanish group. Los Marismeños lived for his career, from the mid 60's, through numerous changes between its components, while the 4 permanent classics in their training were Emilio Losada, Antonio Herrero and brothers Juan and Paco Alejandre (the latter died in 2007).
They have created a very personal image in the interpretation of folk flamenco styles -by incorporating innovative musical instruments-. In their vast musical repertoire, preferably dedicated to the interpretation of sevillanas, fandangos and rumbas (although they touched others, like pasodoble, bolero and waltz) collaborated authors such as Manuel Pareja Obregon or Felipe Campuzano, composers as Quintero, León and Quiroga and guitarists as Paco Cepero and Paco de Lucia.
On this CD are some issues with these collaborations. We must highlight several of his greatest hits, like 'Yo me voy a la Alameda', 'Ole mi tierra que es Huelva' or 'El Rosario de la Aurora'.
