Logical Drift - Sands of Time (Studio Recording) (2017)

Veteran music writer, composer, producer and performer, John Matarazzo sooths the mind, body and soul with a blend of Ambient, Chillout, New Age and World Music elements under the Logical Drift project; where Matarazzo composes each music release around a specific ancient cultural spiritual system for meditation, relaxation and yoga use.

In the beginning of his career, Matarazzo worked on major records and performed with popular acts (Bob Dylan, Herbie Hancock, Ike & Tina Turner), where he was then led to work on more conscious and spiritually driven projects helping to create pioneering recordings of Ambient and Electronica music (John Zorn, Jah Wobble, Mick Harris and Buckethead). Matarazzo was also a co-founder of the classic electronic music record label, Subharmonic Records.

Reaching success in this genre, Matarazzo then began to invite more established world music artists ranging from Ravi Shankar and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to Lee “Scratch” Perry.
