Vado al massimo è il quinto album in studio del cantautore italiano Vasco Rossi, pubblicato nel 1982. Vasco Rossi è autore dei testi e della musica di quasi tutti i brani, ad eccezione di Splendida giornata e di La noia, la cui musica è stata scritta da Tullio Ferro, e Canzone, con musica scritta insieme a Maurizio Solieri.
Con il brano che dà il titolo all'album, Rossi aveva partecipato al Festival di Sanremo del 1982 arrivando in finale. La canzone Vado al massimo è uno sberleffo per tutta la stampa che l'aveva giudicato uno scoppiato, incapace di continuare e un drogato.
Canzone, scritta da Maurizio Solieri, viene proposta a Vasco da Guido Elmi, il quale inizialmente non è molto convinto della scelta di proporre questo brano. Le prime strofe sono dedicate al padre di Vasco deceduto da poco, poi cambia la dedica della canzone rivolgendosi ad una donna poiché non voleva parlare del suo genitore.
Altro brano importante del disco è Ogni volta che Rossi riteneva però troppo intimo per poter essere capito dal pubblico. La noia è dedicata al paese natale di Rossi, Zocca. Da questo disco non viene estratto alcun video.
Vado al Massimo nella sua stesura originale recitava il verso «…vado al Messico, voglio andare a vedere se come dice il droghiere, laggiù masticano tutti foglie intere…». Una canzone con un testo così esplicito non avrebbe potuto gareggiare al festival di Sanremo, perciò la frase venne fatta terminare in maniera diversa: «…laggiù vanno tutti a gonfie vele!»

Vado Al Massimo is the fifth studio album of Italian singer Vasco Rossi, published in 1982. Vasco Rossi is the author of the texts and music of almost all songs, except for Fantastic day and Boredom, whose music was written by Tullio Ferro, and Song, with music written with Maurizio Solieri.
With the song's title track, Rossi had participated in the Sanremo Festival in 1982 reaching the final. The song Vado Al Massimo is for the whole mockery of the press that he had considered a burst, a drug addict and unable to continue.
Song, written by Maurizio Solieri, is offered to Vasco by Guido Elmi, who initially is not very convinced of the decision to offer this song. The first verse is dedicated to Vasco's father died recently, then change the dedication of the song addressed to a woman because he did not want to talk about his father.
Another important piece of the disc is considered, however, Ogni Volta that Rossi is too intimate to be understood by the public. La Noia is dedicated to the birthplace of Rossi, Zocca. From this record does not extract any videos.
Vado Al MAssimo in its original recited the verse "… I go to Mexico, I want to go and see if the grocer says, there chewing all the leaves whole …». A song with a text so explicit it could not compete at the Sanremo Festival, so the sentence was made to end in a different way: "… there are all doing well!"
