DeVicious - Never Say Never (2018)

DeVicious is an international Melodic Hard Rock Band with roots in Karlsruhe Germany, with a passion for anthemic melodies, crispy guitar work and a tight rhythm section. The four friends from school, Gisbert Royder (Andi Deris Band), Lars Nippa (ZAR, Chryztyne, Umbra et Imago u.v.a.) Radivoj Petrovic (Near Dark, Johnny B) and Alex Frey (Castaway, Warrior Bang) came together in Summer 2016 for a casual dinner and walked out as the foundation of what soon would become DeVicious.

Everyone was bored of their day jobs as studio musicians or music teacher, the stage was calling them too loud that it was impossible to ignore.

A mission statement was written down on a napkin topped by 2 rules…
1) No help from friends in the industry during song writing and production
2) Everyone works for the melody of the song… no unnecessary showing off.

The four wanted to find out how far their music will take them without others pathing their way to the record company's offices, they wanted a reality check right from the beginning.

After listening to over 200 singers from all over the world, the band found the perfect match with the Serbian front man Mister Sanders (aka Zoran Sandorov, Serbian National Theater). A few weeks later keyboardist Denis Kunz completed the band.

7 months of song writing and production DeVicious' resulted in the debut album “Never Say Never”
The CD turned out to be the perfect fusion of classic rock elements, combined with traditional hard rock influences. The six kept their focus on the melodies and the arrangements and after a very brief search for a record deal DeVicious signed with the German Melodic Rock / AOR Label “The Junction”

DeVicious' debut album will be released worldwide on March 16th 2018. The band has produced four live action videos and 1 lyric video and will be touring in March 2018 with the Scandinavian all star band “Ammunition” and with the international band “Hardline” in December 2018. More Tours are in the planning and DeVicious will play some prestigious festivals in 2018 and 2019.
