Delirium is a Cirque du Soleil live music event partnered with Live Nation (formerly known as Clear Channel Entertainment). Contrary to the traditional Cirque show that plays over multiple weeks in a city at a time under their trademark Big Top tent or in a Theater used only by Cirque du Soleil, this is a multimedia/theatrical production that features remixes of existing Cirque music and reinterpretations of performances. The show is curently on tour in Europe
Delirium set out to accomplish what no other Cirque du Soleil show has done before. This show was meant to tour from city to city, performing in an arena for only a few nights at a time before moving to the next location. The central concept of the show is to focus on the music of other shows. The music was remixed with a tribal beat and lyrics were either added or rewritten for this show.
