After a few years in Europe and his drug addiction Chet returned to the U.S. and published this work with some new very advanced and creative playing style. He had to use a flugelhorn in the recording because they had stolen his trumpet. But Chet continued sounding warm and smooth, without losing his human touch, while showing the three facets erforming disk: lyrical and sensitive instrumental, vocal and stylistic oriented be-bop. Back in 1987 Chet stated that this album was one of his favorites. It's certainly one of the best in the 60s. His depth of feeling and melodic richness so credited.Track list:
