Carla Marcotulli - How Can I Get To Mars.

She begins her activity as singer in the early '80 performing in Rome Jazz clubs beside Jazz artist such as: Her sister Rita, Massimo Urbani, Danilo Rea, Roberto Gatto, Manhu Roche, Larry Nocella….
In 1983 she is present at the "Four Roses Jazz Festival" beside Chet Baker and in the same year, she is invited by Carmen Mc Rae to improvise with her during her performance at the Music Inn in Rome.

In 1986 is published by Fonit Cetra, an album under her name titled " Flying".

During her Jazz activity she starts, at the same time, to study classical singing tha will provide her a wider range through the musical environments. She gets the Diploma in classical singing and also Of Jazz at the Conservatory of Music " B. Marcello"in Venice.

In the 1993 she is invited to sing at the "Umbria Jazz" first edition, with Giovanni Tommaso quintet.

in 1994 she is engaged in New York, At the Kennedy Center of Washington and Puerto Rico singing Opera.In 1997/98 She is often in Germany with the experimental trio "Neue Note" led By the pianist Klaus Treuheit.

. In 1999 she is singing with the project of the trumpeter Luca Bonvini " The Mystic Trumpeter" a Walt Whitman's poem with the musical accompaniment by Luca Bonvini himself , together with Cameron Brown, Vic Juris and Elliot Zigmund.

In 2001 she joins the new work of the composer and saxophonist Mario Raja and the writer Domenico Starnone "Amori Imperfetti"presented at Umbria JAzz Festival in the same year.

Now she is singing with Dick Halligan quartet, and they finished to recorded a new cd with Sandro Gibellini on guitar and the Dorico string quartet. She sung also with: Maurizio Giammarco,Piero Leveratto,Rita Marcotulli, Roberto Gatto, Anders Kjellberg, Antonio Faraò, Danilo Rea ,Manhu Roche,Massimo Urbani,Riccardo Fassi,Flavio Boltro, Pietro Tonolo, Riccardo Fassi,Marcello Tonolo, Luigi Bonafede, Marvi La Spina,Enrico Rava,Nicola Stilo,Cameron Brown,Luca Bonvini, Roberto Cecchetto,Stefano D'Anna, Pietro Ciancaglini, UT.Ghandi….and many others that now I don't remember! Sorry!
