Yellow Claw - Blood for Mercy (2015)

On their debut LP, Amsterdam’s Yellow Claw doesn’t discriminate: any type of caffeinated dance music is fair game. Becky G soars on the vocal-charged moombah-trance-trap tune “For the Thrill” before the trio changes gears for the subdued “Feel It”—which looks to ‘90s big-beat and classic rave pianos for inspiration. It's a wild, guest-filled ride from there on out. Kingston legend Beenie Man spits straight fire on “Bun It Up,” a clacking dancehall number. And DJ Mustard provides the bassline-driven backing for “In My Room,” where Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga bring some vocal heat.
