    Steyoyoke’s Family Affair series returns to mark its 8th edition to date. The second half of this double release features remixes by Steyoyoke core producers Nick Devon, Simon Sizer and Arude.
    Nick Devon introduces his usual well-defined pace to JOBE’s ‘Dystopia’, but diversifies in percussion elements. Great evolution as well.
    Simon Sizer comes in remixing ‘Indra’ from family chief Soul Button delivering a sinister soundscape full of echoing sharp elements, making the ambience apparent and notably dark.
    Finally Simon gets a treatment on his own ‘Aconit’ by Ukranian talent Arude which crafts a proper Techno groove as he reinforces the track’s commitment to murkiness.

    That’s what Family Affair is all about. Artists lend their techniques and unique views to other highly skilled producers and their pieces, providing beautiful alternative versions of the tracks we already love.
