VA - Hospitality: Drum & Bass 2010 (2010)

It's fairly well acknowledged from across the board that Hospital Records are masters of the mix, kings of the compilation and all round nice boys of the D&B world. Careful not to deviate from this winning template, up and coming hotshot Birmingham-based DJ and producer, Stanza, makes his debut in the series with this digital download-only album, fresh for summer 2010. Gathering together a sonic snapshot of where D&B is at right now, we see the likes of Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Sub Focus, Marky & S.P.Y and Hozza stalwarts Nu:Tone, Logistics, Danny Byrd and High Contrast all prominently featured. Stanza gets things rolling with true Hospital hands-in-the-air abandon, plus a dash of euphoria and some piano keys, before moving through some big room sounds, courtesy of Camo & Krooked's - "History Of The Future", High Contrast's remix of Underworld - "Scribbler" and the Sub Focus D&B mix of "Could This Be Real. A fantastic compilation - sorted.
