Rare, 1977 East Wind Japanese Direct-to-Disc LP. It features some excellent jazz with outstanding drum work by Tony Williams.
Ron Carter, Tony Williams, and Hank Jones play mellow versions of easy standards amidst a set of super-heavy technical specifications designed to deliver the session in the best possible fidelity available during the late 70s. The record won't shatter your world, but it is the kind of "tour de force" that the big money was spent on during the 70s.
