Superfluous Motor is a project started in 2012 by Greg Chambers. Greg is not a people person, by doing everything himself he can stick to his introverted ways while creating the music he wants to make. Superfluous Motor is not marketable, it's not commercial, and it sure is heck isn't enjoyable listening for everyone, but it is kind of sort of different from other things that are out there today. Trifecta: Prog is part of a larger painting. "Trifecta" is a three-part album featuring three different segments focusing on the styles of Funk, Fusion and Prog. Focusing primarily on the Progressive Rock style while also not strictly adhering to genre constraints. Trifecta: Prog is inspired by the concept of interdimensional travel, multiple realities, multiple dimensions, the universe, and what lies beyond. But at the end of the day, it's probably just an excuse for Greg to give the songs dumb names and "get weird" with the music on this one.
