Sunwalker - Energize (2016)

Producer/multi-instrumentalist/singer/filmmaker, Andy has a rich and varied musical past; he has been touted as the British Eminem in a rap-rock 3 –piece, won In The City in Glasgow playing bass in a BMG signed band. He’s worked with some amazing UK artists such as Omar, Don-E, D-Empress, Kele Le Roc, and Katie Leone. As one half of Druw and Perez he has had songs played and released around the world including releases on Defected, Soul Heaven and Copyright Recordings. His new guise as Sunwalker sees him again work with some stellar UK vocalists such as Katie Leone of Incognito, House and Garage legend Lifford Shillingford, Welsh sensation Caroline Harrison and rising star Lauren Johnson (Crystal Fighters, Brand New Heavies, Kwabs). They are complimented by a first class band including John Sam (Drums), Max O'Donnell (Guitar) & Karme Carmelo Caruso (Keys). On the debut album 'Energize' Andy steps up and provides the vocals for most tracks though and mixes house with drum and bass, electro and funk. The songs try to address the crazy times we are living in with songs about gentrification, climate change, mental health, corporate greed and of course good old love amongst over things.
