Feedback 86 is a solo album by guitarist Steve Hackett. The album is a collection of songs written in 1986 but put on the shelf. Some of the songs were supposed to be on the aborted second GTR album. The album features guest appearances by singer Bonnie Tyler, Queen guitarist Brian May and Marillion members Ian Mosley and Pete Trewavas.

Described by those in the know as the former Genesis guitarist's "lost album of the 1980s", Feedback 86' was shelved due to the immense contractual problems generated by the stars responsible for it - including Queen's Brian May, Marillion's Pete Trewavas and Ian Mosley, Bonnie Tyler and Manfred Mann's vocalist Chris Thompson. As a bonus, the CD also contains 20 additional 'Greatest Hits' tracks and video footage encoded as high quality MP3 computer sound files."
