Shazz - Beautiful [10th Anniversary Definitive Edition] (2015)

Didier Delesalle was born in Dunkirk in 1967. Early insider culture electro / dance of the Brussels scene, he moved to the capital in the mid 80s and quickly rubs the middle of the Parisian night. This is a fan of the first hour of music new wave, disco and even Hi-NRG. His discovery of EPs American house debut made an unconditional fan of Larry Heard (Mr. Fingers) and Detroit techno.

A few years later, it is one of the first artists signed by Eric Morand, in the late 1980s, the label Fnac Music Dance Division. He collaborates on several EPs with Ludovic Navarre (aka St Germain) under the pseudonyms The n'S, or Soofle Clouds and Laurent Garnier under the pseudonym Choice (Acid Eiffel) while leaving his own records under the name Shazz, of Orange or Aurora Borealis (The Milky Way). Quite naturally follows Eric Morand when it creates, Laurent Garnier, the label F Communications.

In the late 1990s, leaving Shazz F-Com and signed with a major label, Columbia. For the first time, he began a collaboration with musicians, which allow it to expand its range of sounds: trumpet, bass, sax, piano. Several EPs learned from Shazz benefit album of remixes of artists deep house and garage as Blaze and Joe Claussel on the label Yellow Productions.

With his second album In The Light of eleven titles at Epic, made in the space of a year, Shazz headed compositions combining house, pop and black music. It remains rooted in electronic music using DJ Gregory for rhythmic programming of six pieces, Julien Jabre for mixing and Alexandre Destrez for arrangements, with whom he collaborated for Back In Manhattan.

His third album Beautiful is shifting to a song format where the voices of the singers predominate. We find, again, Julien Jabre mixing and Alexandre Destrez on keyboards.

After an electro-Baroque bracket, performed with the cons-tenor Gérard Lesne and arranger Dominique Massa, leading the musical project ?, Human Shazz released his fourth solo album, Heritage, in March 2009 on the Pschent label. Accompanied by American singer Michael Robinson, Shazz is more directed to the electro-pop, to include gospel, soul and blues. Title Mirage was taken on the compilation of the Hotel Costes 11 and the Costes Decade.
