Songwriter is the thirteenth studio album by American singer/songwriter and record producer/arranger Richard Marx, released on September 30, 2022. Showing the range of his songwriting abilities, 'Songwriter' contains twenty tracks crossing four different musical genres so people can connect with the project and experience the 'four sides of Richard Marx'. Five pop songs, five rock songs, five country songs and five beautiful ballads. For this album, Marx worked with many other songwriters, including his sons Lucas and Jesse, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Burt Bacharach and Chris Daughtry among others.
