This is an album of "greatest hits ",… hmmm. I don't like compilations, or the "Best of" or the "Very Best", etc, etc. Essential songs always leave out, for purely commercial grounds, of course. With Planxty, it is a different: all the first time is essential:
Planxty / The Well Below The Valley / Cold Blow And The Rainy Night, where all music is good, therefore, any release is good to recognize the genius of these musicians.
One thing that makes a difference in this compilation: there is an unreleased track that was released as a single (not published in their official discography.) This is the song "Cliffs of Doone." A beautiful ballad, which Christy released before on his album Prosperous (without a doubt, this version in the compilation of the song is over). The fact is that published in this collection and this album makes it a miss and recommended for those who still don't know this band.

    Spanish.
