Pamela Badjogo - Mes couleurs (2016)

Pamela Badjogo was born in 1982 in Libreville, Gabon, where she grew up before moving to Mali in 2005 to continue his studies microbiology. In 2007, she conquers the Malian and African public in the first edition of Case Sanga music reality TV show broadcast on the pan-African Africable chain, which she won second place. She lends her voice in the musical Kirikou & Karaba and shows on stage and in the studio as a chorister with renowned artists such as Salif Keita sides, Oumou Sangaré, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Dee Dee Bridge Water, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Matthieu Chedid or Danakil … Meanwhile, it has for four years the weekly cultural program on an Artist to Africable.

Bubbly and full of energy, Pamela expressed her love of the stage in his Bamakool Jazz group in 2011 and 2012, during jam sessions it organizes at the French Institute of Mali, the last festival Notes of a summer valley (Corrèze - 2015) or with the Amazons at the Fiesta des Suds (Marseille - 2015).

My Colors, his first solo album is a collaboration with musician and arranger Manjul. Recorded in Mali, this album takes us into a decidedly Afro-jazz universe where Mandingo and Bantu sounds mingle. His grave and warm timbre, Pamela thrilled us over 11 securities in which she juggles with French, English, Bambara or bakaningui, his mother tongue. This is the case in Koule, rhythmic and catchy song and Bo, interpretation of a lullaby sung by his mother. My Colors is an opportunity to deliver, with great emotion a real life testimony revealing the richness of its meetings and its influences. Initiated in, it pays homage to his adopted country, inviting virtuoso fiddle Zoumana Tereta and cherry Babani Kone. Paco Sery, Cheick Tidiane Seck or Penzy rapper are also among the invited guests offer their shade to the album.
