Ohm Square - A Curious Place Between Souls and Atoms (2014)

The band, which has just released the sixth row record A Curious Place Between Souls And Atoms, now operates just like a pair of musician John Čechtického a British singer Charlotte Fairman alias Charlie One.
After its founding in 1996, at the time of the leaven of the dance scene, Ohm Square were the most progressive domestic makers. Over time, the pure experimentation and tired of what they have gained in this period, started from the album Love Classics (2005) zúročovat in a more organized, more accessible and somewhat more traditional material.

New offers are actually three kinds of songs. On the one hand, those which are closest to the soul and rhythm'n'blues. One can imagine that Numb To The Gum or Contamine 8 could - of course completely different, tool "live" rather than electronic accompaniment - a star to sing soul 70s, and the song Boogie Woodie would quite nicely suited some contemporary singer R'N 'b.
On the other side of the tracks, from which it is apparent that Ohm Square still have the taste of conjuring sound, like when hallucinogenic Sweet Love (Moonshine Mix). And thirdly, somewhere between these two poles, and the best crossover songs, which means a great vocalist still girlish voice with humanized Čechtického electronics: Humanic, Liam or originality.
Ohm Square nezahlcují their news fans, the new album was released six years after its predecessor. Probably because it is so established, balanced, yet rugged. Worthy of former petrels who harvest the fruits of his talent.
