POLYPHONIES FÉMININES ÉBOURIFFANTES Avec … E los leons , les voix et les percussions de La Mal Coiffée sculptent une musique qui porte un récit : l'épopée d'une jeune fille dont les lointains ancêtres sont des lions. Alors que les traditions de son clan la poussent vers la place réservée aux femmes de sa lignée, elle ne peut pourtant ignorer les pulsions sauvages de ses ancêtres qui battent en elle. Inspiré du roman d'Henry Bauchau, Diotime et les lions , ce poème narratif est écrit et mis en musique par Laurent Cavalié. Originaire du Minervois, La Mal Coiffée réinvente un chant polyphonique où la poésie et la langue occitane sont indissociables de l'expression populaire. Ancré dans la modernité, ce travail fait résonner le timbre de voix languedocien, un timbre profond et chaleureux soutenu par un puissant jeu rythmique.
