To my knowledge, this is the only live recording of Coltrane's masterpiece "A Love Supreme". The concert was possibly performed in Antibes, France sometime in 1965. Unfortunately, no information at all is provided in the record, as ussual with recordings made available by the Passport Audio label. The original sound quality is just average and my guess is that the concert was taped and/or broadcasted by a radio station. I encoded it at 320@ to preserve the best possible sound quality. A must for Coltrane fans.
