A música de Gilberto Gil sempre teve um forte componente autobiográfico. Mas em OK OK OK, primeiro álbum de inéditas desde Fé na Festa (2010), ele vai mais fundo do que nunca: todas as 15 canções se referem a Gil e suas circunstâncias, muitas delas habitadas pelo tom filosófico que é outra de suas marcas.

Apresentado na plataforma Apple Music semana passada e com lançamento nesta sexta (17) em todos os serviços digitais e também em CD e LP, o disco é resultado direto do período mais delicado da vida do compositor, que em 26 de junho completou 76 anos. Em 2016, ele viveu entre médicos e hospitais por conta de problemas renais, cardíacos e hipertensão. Ficou recolhido em casa até o horizonte se abrir e trazer a vontade de compor, motivada pela concentração de energias positivas recebidas da família (a mulher Flora, oito filhos, 10 netos, uma bisneta) e dos amigos. / The music of Gilberto Gil has always had a strong autobiographical. But OK OK OK, the first album of unreleased since Faith in the Party (2010), he goes deeper than ever before: all 15 of the songs refer to Gil and their circumstances, many of which are inhabited by the tone of philosophical that is another one of their brands.
