Broadcaster David Frost who was a friend to the Official Elvis Presley Fan Club for many years, hosted "Elvis He Touched Their Lives" a documentary filmed by Yorkshire Television and featuring the British Elvis Presley Fan Club's trip to Memphis, Tennessee in 1980. He joined in the fun with 400 passengers, and the programme which was a Christmas Special attracted 15 million viewers and won a number of television awards for the network.
