DJ Sakin (real name Sakin Bozkurt) (born 2nd August 1967) is a Turkish-German dance music producer, remixer and DJ. Bozkurt started producing music and DJing in 1990.
Bozkurt has been resident in the clubs Wartburg and Stonsenspliel (both Wiesbaden) and The MusicHall (Frankfurt). Since July 2003 he has run Joules Bookings, an international DJ and producer agency.
Chart success came in 1999 under the name DJ Sakin & Friends, a DJ troupe consisting of, amongst others, Torsten Stenzel.
"Nomansland (David's Song)", reached #14 in the UK Singles Chart in June 1999. The track heavily samples classical music, this time the work of Romanian composer Vladimir Cosma.
