Can Atilla - Sems-i Rumi (2017)

Can Atilla, the distinguished composer of new music that has achieved more than 150,000 CDs sales success in Turkey, is once again touching the unique music of Mevlana and Şems-i Tabrizi's iconic personalities of Sufi world on Şems-i Rumi album.
Can Atilla, the composer of the Mevlana Call Ball from the Mevlana Oratorio and the State Ballet repertoire for seven years, is now releasing the "secret" part of Şems-i Tabrizi's extraordinary love affair with his new album Şems-i Rumi.

This new artistic experience of the composer, consisting of fifteen minutes, where fifteen works took place, goes beyond all the expressions taught with mystic music to this day; Acoustic, electronic and epic narrative. For the first time in the album, the listener will listen to Mevlana's lines from Mesnevisi and the striking mystic aphorisms of Şems-i Tabrizi in their original language in Persian. The poems of Mevlana and Shams, both of which are included in the album, are also owned by Reza Hemmatirad. Ugur Erbaş, who also directed the album's cover designer Can Atilla's clips. Also complementary and enlightening writing about the album by Mevlana researcher writer Melahat Ürkmez is included in the booklet.
