Budgie - Power Supply (1980) [Remastered 2012] Re-up

Power Supply is Budgie's eighth studio album, released in October 1980 on Active Records, a sublabel of RCA Records (which was the distributor of A&M Records - Budgie's previous label - at the time).

No doubt influenced by the increasingly popular new wave of British heavy metal, Budgie begin their descent into cliché-ridden metal obscurity with this awful release. The recycled power chords of "Forearm Smash" set the tone, and despite some interesting moments in "Time to Remember," this album certainly ranks as one of the band's all-time lows.
