Digitally remastered edition of this 1970 debut album from this young South London Blues-based band. Original members had been Paul Kossoff and Simon Kirke, but when they left to form Free, the band re-organized and went on to record this album for Decca's Nova label. Nine tracks. BGO. 2010.

Very good blues rock from the late 60s. Prog? not really. Under rated? Yes! With that said I am still glad someone gives this album credit as I don't hear about it often enough. This reminds me of early Free for obvious reasons. Cream and early Foghat are two other bands that come to mind. Many of these tracks are heavy, stripped down blues numbers, but its a winning formula with soulful lyrics and nice musicanship, especially the subtle piano part on "Please tell me babe", my favorite song, a 5 star track.
