Giorgos Hadjinassios is one of the most important and popular Greek composers. This CD from the Limited Edition "2LP in 1 CD" EMI Series, contains 2 early Hadjinassios' LP from 1973 and 1976. Wonderful music in 24 songs from a talented composer and 3 top Greek singers. Enjoy.

The first LP "God will have for us" (Εχει ο Θεός) contains 12 songs with two very popular singers Manolis Mitsias and Dimitra Galani, both with brilliant careers till today. The duet has recorded many best selling albums together in the 70s. They had a very special artistic "chemistry" that encouraged even the great Manos Hadjidakis to record two of his masterpieces with this excellent duet, that you will enjoy in my next posts. The music is very pleasant and the lyrics describe scenes of everyday life. Giorgos Hadjinassios is one of the creators of the "new" music style called "light-popular" (ελαφρολαϊκό) wich was very popular in Greece for more than 3 decades.

The second LP called "Album"(Λεύκωμα) is one of the most beautiful works of Giorgos Hadjinasios featuring in the first 5 tracks, the greatest greek female popular singer of the century, Vicky Moscholiou, who is not with us anymore. The LP contains 5 more songs with Dimitra Galani and 2 instrumentals. The wonderful song at track 19 (or 7th of the original LP) with the title "Your azure letters" (Ta galazia sou gramata) by Dimitra Galani, has acquired a huge popularity and till today is considered as one of the best of Giorgos Hadjinassios. All the LP is excellent and propelled Hadjinassios to the top places of the Greek composers' "Pantheon". He is the arranger and also the pianist in many of the songs. A real gem.
