Traveling through enchanting scenery and glistening night, "Nu-Lounge and the City" shuttles between New York, London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo and the metropolis that leads fashion & trend all over the world, singing those Nu-Jazz, Downtempo and Chillout tunes to capture the story, yes, the engrossing narration of the city.

"Day Time Stories" as titled CD1 depicts ever-changing daylight. Fertile Ground's "Simple Timeless" preludes the track praised by Jazzanova, then followed by German artist Bajka, whose thick voice trapping us in "The Landing". California-based Mayer Hawthorne somehow reproduces Curtis Mayfield's soul presence with "Just Ain't Gonna Work Out". Hip-Hop Jazz comes cozy by Korea-oriented Kero One, Downtempo flavour turns gloomy by mixing genius DJ Vadim, who've done Prince and Erykah Badu mixes. Sweden Electro-Jazz group Koop presents their classic "Tonight" as Nicola Conte New Jazz Version, mellow and divine.

CD2 the "Late Night Tales" told by Italian vocalist Mario Biondi, whose bairtone just like Johnny Hartman breaking and entering the night. The crack is the sexy laziness of German duo JoJo Effect, the sweet chant of Brazilian female Rosalia de Souza, and the dreamlike chillout of Milan-based The Dining Rooms. Last but not least, Stockholm team The Moleskins and Japan Jazz Diva Karen Aoki infuse brand-new tones separately into "Is It A Crime" and "Smooth Operator". If the city needs the brush to decorate its sky, these 29 songs compiled in "Nu-Lounge and the City" simply comes with the most beautiful color to fit in!
