Contrast Clause:
- This post is an upgrade from my previous post !
- On my previous post, I used Castudio DVD Audio Extractor and the AC3 2ch track.
- I don't like DVD Audio Extractor for converting AC3 to WAV, in fact, I don't like any DVD Audio Extractor at all.
- I prefer using DVD Decrypter to extract AC3 and then convert it to WAV using foobar2000.
- If a DVD contains a PCM track, again, DVD Decrypter is the best option.
- This time I used DVD Decrypter for ripping the DVD.
- I used the AC3 6ch track (instead of 2ch) and converted it to stereo using foobar2000 (Convert 5.1 to stereo).
- The 6ch is more powerful and bright than the 2ch, all the instruments and voice are very clear.
- Compare With or Without You from previous post & this new post (sample in MP3 VBR -V0).
- The original DVD does not contain a PCM track (lossless), not even the Blu-ray Disc edition, that's why I had to use the AC3 6ch (lossy), anyway, the audio quality is excellent.
- I did not downsample to RedBook format (16bit/44KHz), so, if you want to burn and play this on a standalone CD player, you'll have to downsample yourself using any audio editor like Sound Forge, Audacity, etc…
- NO normalization or edition was done on the audio ! What I extracted is what you get.
- I made some artwork (front, back, disc 1 & disc 2) in case you like to put the RedBook format in a jewelcase.

"What other band in our position would learn the chords of 'All Along The Watchtower' five minutes before they went on-stage, play it live and record it ? No-one." ~Bono
'We discovered a common bond between us and some of these older artists like B.B. King. When we met him there was a whole world of understanding and nothing needed to be said. That has been the pay-off of working ten years to get into this position. We no longer have to prove ourselves. It's in the music and people can hear it.' ~Adam
