The original audio found in Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Craft for the PC. Contains 58 game-rips encoded with FLAC and Lame. Encoded files include IDv3 tags and album art. (JPG 500x500 px) I assembled this since there doesn't seem to be an original soundtrack for the game.
- NOTE: This is NOT lossless. I decided to store the audio in FLAC for tagging purposes. There is no lossless source of this game's audio, so this is as high-quality as you can get. Due to the way video games store their audio assets, it is not possible to use EAC to extract music, or provide a log to ensure the veracity of the files. The audio was extracted from a WAD container using Cdaudio.wad Player, and then transcoded to FLAC and Lame. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Additional notes: What's missing? Any themes that were recycled from TR1 and 2. (TR3 re-uses some of the ambience, and well as a few suspenseful themes) Since I've already uploaded the TR1 and 2 sound versions, it seemed redundant to include any themes from those games here. I opted for the PC version because the PSX version stores its audio assets in a more difficult and unconventional manner. To assemble the soundtrack, it would have been necessary to edit streams together and manually loop the audio. The PC version stores audio as more direct streams that are easier to extract.
I originally wanted to include this with the TR1 and 2 upload, but the combined data is too big to fit on a single disc. I figured TR3 would merit its own upload at this point. I may also consider uploading audio from other TR games in the future. Enjoy!
